Welcome to the Durocher Lab website! We investigate how cells detect, signal and repair DNA damage in eukaryotes with the larger objective of understanding how the integrity of genome is maintained. Our work is relevant for understanding the aetiology of cancer and the development of better cancer therapies, which is an emerging focus of the lab. Our work also impacts other areas of biology, such as neurodegeneration, immune cell biology and aging.
